Special Steel, Maraging 300

This grade is a low carbon Maraging steel, cobalt strengthened to give excellent toughness and ductility. The alloy has good fabrication characteristics, which include a low rate of work hardening, good Machinability and weldability, and a very simple heat treatment process. The applications are missile and rocket motor cases, landing and take off gear and munitions.
