Special Steel, S143

S143 is a precipitation hardening steel that combines high mechanical strength with moderate corrosion resistance. By using a different sequence of different heat treatments, sharing a common chemical composition allows the material to be produced meeting S144 and S145. The material is commonly used for aerospace, defence and high technology applications.
